Cultural Nationalism Seminar on National Youth Day at Aryabhatt Auditorium

SANJAY PANDEY Ranchi: In commemoration of National Youth Day and Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, a Cultural Nationalism Seminar was organized at Aryabhatt Auditorium in Ranchi. The event, primarily supported by Ranchi University, National Service Scheme, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, and Rashtrapratham, featured eminent speakers, including Supreme Court Senior Advocate and IPL Man of India, Ashwini Upadhyay.
Ranchi Member of Parliament, Mr. Sanjay Seth, was the chief guest, and the event was presided over by Dr. Ajit Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor of Ranchi University. Distinguished guests included senior journalist Mr. Baijnath Mishra, State Head of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Mrs. Hani Sinha, former Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Ajay Maroo, former Deputy Mayor of Ranchi Mr. Sanjeev Vijayvargiya, and Coordinator of Rashtrapratham, Mr. Chandrakant Raypat.
In his opening remarks, MP Sanjay Seth urged the youth to work towards building a developed India by 2047. He emphasized the need to incorporate the “Vocal for Local” slogan into daily life, as it plays a crucial role in Prime Minister Modi’s vision for a prosperous India.
Addressing the audience, Ashwini Upadhyay highlighted that India, despite being independent, still grapples with a mindset of servitude. He called upon the youth to contribute to the creation of a nation where justice prevails in every aspect, referencing Swami Vivekananda’s ideals.
Ashwini Upadhyay emphasized the importance of creating a nation similar to the concept of “Ram Rajya,” where everything is just, and no one suffers. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for repealing several laws symbolizing servitude and expressed hope for the repeal of more such laws, enabling the rebirth of a self-reliant India.
Upadhyay emphasized the need to make Sanskrit and Hindi mandatory for everyone to revive India’s cultural identity. He encouraged youth to use social media positively, share creative content, and spread positivity around them.
The event concluded with Ashwini Upadhyay’s call for youth to actively participate in shaping the future of India, aiming for a developed nation by 2037.
