In a press conference organized on Monday in protest against the brutal murder of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha district treasurer Sumit Srivastava by BJP Palamu, MP Vishnu Dayal Ram condemned the murder of Sumit Srivastava, where the morale of criminals in the current Hemant Soren government has increased significantly. And such incidents have continuously increased in the state. The state government has proved incapable of providing security to the people of the state.
District President Vijayanand Pathak said that even after 24 hours of the incident, criminals are out of reach of the administration, it is very worrying. Immediately arrest the culprits. He raised a question mark on the health system of the district and said that even after getting the recognition of the district hospital and medical college, the health department here is in bad shape and even the basic needs are not available to any victim. The team of doctors could not remove a bullet stuck in the body due to lack of tools even after a day’s effort from the dead body of BJP worker Sumit Srivastava. Dr Vijay Singh, in-charge of the post-mortem, remained absent from his duty. After talking to the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police Palamu, Dr. Singh appeared at the post-mortem site. Health Department Palamu should improve its work culture and arrange basic facilities without delay otherwise BJP workers are ready for agitation.
BJYM state president Kislay Tiwari said that the administration should ensure the arrest of the killers of district treasurer Sumit Srivastava within 48 hours, otherwise the administration should be ready to face the agitation. BJYM district president Jyoti Pandey said that the district administration should immediately arrest the culprits and give harsh punishment so that the public’s trust in the police remains.
