COVID: Private schools in UT should collect only 75 pc of tution fees for AY 2021-22 : CM

Puducherry,  In view of the Covid pandemic, Chief Minister N Rangaswamy on Thursday ordered that all private schools in the Union Territory should collect only 75 percent of the tuition fees for the academic year 2021-22.

An official release said, this is in view of the Covid situation and in accordance with the orders of Madras High Court.

The tution fees should be collected on the basis of the fee fixed by the Fee committee for the academic year 2019-20 and it must be in two or more instalments (40 percent and 35 percent respectively) for 2021-22.

The schools shall not collect any other fees like annual fee, bus fee, uniform fee, fee for extra-curricular activities, Library fee until the schools reopened and off line classes commence.
