Applicants can collect nomination forms from room number 312 (Block-A)

Ranchi: The notification for the Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency will be issued on April 29, 2024. Before that, the preparations are being reviewed by the District Election Officer, Ranchi Rahul Kumar Sinha On a rehearsal was conducted regarding the activities conducted in the RO’s office. During this, the Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order), Ranchi along with the Assistant Returning Officer and Nodal Officer Hatia Assembly constituency Rajeshwar Nath Alok, Sub-Divisional Officer Sadar cum Assistant Returning Officer Ranchi Assembly constituency Utkarsh Kumar, Additional Secretary Ranchi cum Assistant Returning Officer Silli Assembly constituency Ram Narayan Singh, and other related officials and workers were present. Directions to ensure compliance with the directives and guidelines of the Election Commission of India District Election Officer Rahul Kumar Sinha interacted with the appointed officials in the election coordination cell one by one and took information about their work and responsibilities. While ensuring compliance with the directives and guidelines of the Election Commission of India, he directed them to conduct their duties accordingly. After the issuance of the notification, appropriate and necessary instructions were given to all regarding the documents to be obtained for nomination and further steps to be taken. Rahul Kumar Sinha, the District Election Officer, inspected the arrangements made during the nomination process at the Collectorate premises. He ensured proper arrangements from the main gate of the Collectorate to the RO’s chamber. Relevant officials were given necessary instructions during the inspection. District Election Officer Rahul Kumar Sinha mentioned that strict security arrangements will be in place during the nomination process at the Collectorate premises. Officials were instructed to ensure that there is no unnecessary crowding inside the Collectorate premises.

Proper arrangements were made for journalists, barricading at various locations, cleanliness, sound amplification system, lift, and lighting, with instructions given to the Deputy Returning Officer and Assistant Nodal Officer to ensure proper arrangements.
Room number 202 in Block-A of the Collectorate has been set up as the Returning Officer’s chamber for the Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency. Applicants can submit their nomination papers there.

Nomination papers can be submitted to the Returning Officer at the notified place from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. After 3:00 PM on the last date of nomination, entry into the room will not be allowed. With the issuance of the notification on April 29 nomination forms can be obtained for the Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency. Nomination forms can be obtained from room number 312 in Block-A. The office will be open for nomination (from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM). During the nomination process, officers and magistrates have been appointed in and around the Collectorate premises to ensure compliance with the Model Code of Conduct, legal provisions, and maintenance of law and order and peace. Appointed officials and magistrates are stationed at various locations: Near the main entrance and drop gate of the Collectorate premises (Block-A)

Officers and magistrates have been directed to ensure their presence at the appointed place from April 29, to May 9 starting from 9:00 AM, and to ensure the proper discharge of their duties in accordance with the Model Code of Conduct and legal provisions. Sub Divisional Officer Sadar, Ranchi, has been directed to appoint an FST and VSAT team while keeping in mind the Model Code of Conduct
