Medininagar’s housing colony has been imbued with devotion through the recitation of Vedic mantras. This transformation took place during the Shri Devkinandan Thakur Ji Maharaj’s Bhagavat Katha and Laxminarayan Mahayagna, which commenced on November 21st and will continue until November 28th. The event witnessed the special participation of scholars who chanted Vedic mantras, including Arjun Pandey (Guru Pandey) and his wife Usha Pandey, who are the principal custodians of the organizing committee.
The event began with worship and rituals performed by Arjun Pandey and his wife Usha Pandey. Following the rituals, a flag dedicated to Lord Hanuman was hoisted. The entire area resonated with cheers of “Jai Hanuman” as the flag was raised. The place of worship was beautifully decorated for Hanuman Puja, and special plants were imported from Hyderabad to enhance the visual appeal of the place. The plants were meticulously arranged in pots to create an enchanting atmosphere.
Local legislators, Alok Chaurasia, former Legislative Assembly President Inder Singh Namdhari, former Municipal Corporation President Surendra Singh, former District Council Vice President Vinod Singh, along with various dignitaries such as Manoj Singh, Gyan Chand Pandey, Deenanath Tiwari, Shyam Narayan Dubey, Vibhakar Pandey, Jaish Ranjan Pathak, Professor KK Mishra, Durgaprasad Jauhari, Rajkishor Singh, CS Dubey, Lavli Gupta, Meena Gupta, Sheela Srivastava, Rupa Singh, Dhananjay Tripathi, Paramdev Singh Kushwaha, Jyoti Pandey, Sudhir Dubey, Rajeev Ranjan Pandey, Praveen Singh, and Damodar Mishra were present in large numbers. They all shared a deep commitment to the Sanatan Dharma.
The organizing committee for the Bhagavat Katha event, led by Devendra Tiwari, the Pradesh Adhyaksh of the National Parashuram Yuva Vahini, played an active role and contributed to the success of the event, serving with a spirit of devotion.
