EW Correspondent/Ranchi: Jharkhand Technological University has issued a notification that the daughters of Jharkhand will now be able to complete their M.Tech studies in just Rs 10. Now all the students of Jharkhand will get the benefit of this. At the same time, no application fee will be charged from the students of Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. According to this, only 10 rupees will be taken from the daughters of Jharkhand as admission fee and tuition fee. Apart from this, a registration fee of Rs 350 and students’ amenity fee of Rs 6,800 will be charged. VC Pradeep Kumar Mishra said that the amenity and registration fees of needy girls will be returned.
Tuition fee for SC-ST category students
In the revised fee, the tuition fee for SC-ST category students has been fixed at Rs 1,935. However, the fee for unreserved category girl students and girl students of other states has been fixed at Rs 7,710. The registration fee is Rs 350, students aminity fee will have to be paid separately.
Pradeep Kumar Mishra said that apart from this, scholarship of all categories of students is also going to start in the university. BBA and BCA courses will also start in the university from this session.
The university is starting M.Tech Data Science, M.Tech Environmental Science and M.Tech Project Engineering and Management courses from this academic session. Enrollment will be taken on 18-18 seats in all these courses. The last date for application is 20 November.
