Aurangabad, The Marathwada region of Maharashtra recorded 93 fresh COVID-19 cases and one death in the past 24 hours, health authorities informed.
The district headquarters reports stated that of eight districts in the region, Aurangabad district was the worst-affected with 30 cases and single death, followed by Beed with 38 cases, Latur recorded 10 cases, Nanded had 9 cases, Jalna 5 cases, Parbhani registered single case and Hingoli nil.
Meanwhile, during the past 24 hours, 3,898 fresh cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the state, taking the total number of infections to 64,93,698.
The state also registered 86 more deaths, taking the death toll to 1,37,897.
