Dhanbad judge death case: Auto colliding recovered from Giridih, two arrested including driver

The auto that caused the death of Dhanbad District and Sessions Judge Ashtam Uttam Anand after hitting him has been recovered from Giridih. The police have arrested two including the auto driver in this case. The interrogation of accused Lakhan Verma and Rahul Verma is going on. Police are trying to find out whether the judge’s death was just an accident or whether he was murdered as part of a well-planned conspiracy. A meeting of senior police officers is going on in this regard. Judge Uttam Anand’s last rites are being held in Hazaribagh today.Many judicial officers of Dhanbad are taking part in this.

The accused Lakhan Verma and Rahul Verma, arrested by the police, are residents of Digwadih number 12. The state government has taken the case of the judge’s death very seriously. On the other hand, due to the death of Judge Uttam Anand, there was silence in the Dhanbad court today. It is being told that the auto drivers Lakhan and Rahul were intoxicated. Both told the police that the accident took place due to loss of balance. After the accident, both of them left the auto and fled.Both were hiding at their brother-in-law’s house in Giridih. Both the accused have already gone to jail in the theft case.

It is noteworthy that on Wednesday morning, Judge Uttam Anand (50 years) was hit by an auto when he was returning from a morning walk. The judges were on their way back to their quarters located next to the Hirapur Electricity Office after taking a walk from the Golf Ground. The accident happened in front of Ganga Medical, a few steps away from Randhir Verma Chowk. The entire incident has been captured on CCTV. After seeing the footage, the police is questioning the motive of the auto driver. On suspicion arose, a medical board was formed hurriedly on the orders of the DC for the post-mortem of the judge.The team of doctors conducted the post-mortem of the judge’s body in the evening. It is being told that he suffered bleeding from his ear due to a serious head injury. Death is being said of brain hemorrhage.

Judge’s wife alleges murder in FIR

Justice Uttam Anand’s wife Kriti Sinha has filed an FIR in Dhanbad police station and has accused unknown person of murder. In the FIR lodged, Kriti Sinha alleged that this case is not of an accident. It is clear from the video footage that the unidentified man sitting in the middle seat of the unknown auto has deliberately hit her husband on the head with the help of the auto driver. Due to which he died. Advocate Vishal Anand alias Vicky, relative of the deceased judge, said that Uttam Anand had never received any kind of threat in the past.After the post-mortem, the body was taken to the father’s house in Hazaribagh Shivpuri Colony.
