Imphal, ManipurĀ recorded 495 new Covid cases and recovery of 458 persons. In the past twenty-four hours, 492 persons (266M, 226F) from general and three personnel from Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) were confirmed as new COVID19 positive cases.
They were from Imphal East (106), Imphal West (143), Thoubal (45),
Bishnupur (48), Kakching (18), Ukhrul (19), Churachandpur (54),
Chandel (4), Senapati (3), Tamenglong (29), Tengnoupal (10), Kangpokpi (6) and Pherzawl (7).
In the last 24 hours, the State Level Covid 19 Deaths Audit Committee has reported 13 Covid 19 deaths.
The District-wise distributions were Imphal West (2), Imphal East (6), Kakching (1), Bishnupur (1), Kangpokpi (2) and Ukhrul (1). The cumulative number of deaths was 1021.
Today, 458 persons were discharged, out of which 376 were from home isolation, 5 from RIMS, one from JNIMS and the rest 76 from other Covid care facilities.
The cumulative number of positive cases was 62,343 (General Population 58,547 and Central Security Personnel ā 3,796). The cumulative number of recovered cases was 52,220 (General Populationā 48,459 and Central Security Personnel ā 3,761). The number of active cases was 9,102 (General Population ā 9,072 and Central Security Personnel 30). The recovery rate was 83.76 percent.
