Benefit farmers by providing them with improved seeds: MP

Ranchi: Benefit the farmers of Palamu district by giving them improved seeds on time. There should not be any problem in seed distribution. There is a need to have transparency in the distribution of seeds. Seed distribution among farmers should be done only in the presence of public representatives. These things were said by Palamu MP Vishnu Dayal Ram. He was presiding over the virtual meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee Disha on Tuesday. The meeting was concluded through NIC video conferencing in the NIC auditorium located in the Collectorate. In which MLA from NIC auditorium Alok Chaurasia, Panki MLA Shashi Bhushan Mehta, Deputy Commissioner Shashi Ranjan, Municipal Commissioner of Medninagar Municipal Corporation Dinesh Prasad, Collector Ashish Aggarwal, Deputy Development Commissioner Shekhar Jamuar, Civil Surgeon Dr. Anil and other senior officers of Palamu district, MPs and MLA representatives were involved.
On the demand of the members, the MP said that it should be ensured to give the benefit of KCC to all the farmers covered by the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. He directed to improve the attitude of the bank and to give the benefit of KCC to more and more farmers. During the review of the banks, he directed the District Lead Bank Manager to focus on increasing the CD Ratio of the bank. He said that due to Corona, there are many people who want to start a new business, so do the work of giving loans to all such people. During the meeting, MP directed to maintain transparency while distributing seeds among farmers. He said that seeds should be distributed among farmers only in the presence of public representatives. Apart from this, during the review of pension schemes, he directed that he told that the work of giving pension continues continuously, so there is a need to pay special attention to it that there is no pendency. The MP said that Palamu is in the top ten in 112 aspirational districts of the country. All the officers deserve congratulations for this. There is a need to expedite the work being done by the district administration to take Palamu further up.
