Palamu EW News: The District Election Officer, along with the Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Shashi Ranjan, held a meeting with all departmental nodal officers regarding the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 at the Sabha Ghar. During the meeting, they were briefed about the preparations being made for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 at the departmental level. They emphasized the need for all officers to remain in election mode and work together as a team to ensure the successful conduct of the elections.
It was stressed that each officer should fulfill their responsibilities diligently, and the nodal officers would ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. The Deputy Commissioner, along with the District Election Officer, Mr. Ranjan, directed the nodal officers of various departments regarding the election-related tasks such as training schedule determination for polling personnel, preparation of data base for personnel, timely completion of pending entries, establishment of postal ballot and facility centers for differently-abled voters, evaluation of vehicle requirements for the vehicle department, and instructions for other relevant departments like material, EVM, observer, media, training, among others.
They also instructed to adhere to the guidelines provided in the Election Commission’s handbook for the successful conduct of elections and to actively conduct checking campaigns across the district. It was decided that the officers of all departments would participate in the next meeting with their presentations. They emphasized the importance of conducting meetings with all departmental officers and nodal officers. Various departmental officers, including Assistant Superintendent Kundan Kumar, Assistant Superintendent Ravi Kumar, Assistant Election Officer Preeti Kisku, SDO Anurag Kumar Tiwari, along with officers from various departments, were present at the occasion.
