Ballia: Virendra Singh Mast is a well-known name in saffron politics and a member of parliament from Ballia. He is an expected candidate from Bagi Ballia in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. He won the 2019 election by 15,519 votes, defeating Samajwadi Party candidate Sanatan Pandey. Mast has a huge political career that started from his student life. BJP MP Virendra Singh Mast has announced plans to build an auditorium in memory of former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav and sanctioned Rs 25 lakh from his local area development funds. The proposed auditorium will come up on the premises of the District Civil Court, Ballia. He always sound to keep everyone with him, opposition is not matter for him that is reason for his popularity. Before this there was crises in Railway connectivity but it was his voice that Ballia district granted many trains and top class faslities. He is carrying many ambitious project like Arsenic free drinking water, beautification of Railway station, Train halts in rural stations , Fire station in Baria.
