Sahibganj (Jharkhand): In a 36-hour lockdown, thieves stole mobiles worth four lakhs after breaking the lock of a mobile shop near Chaiti Durga temple of Sakrugarh in the city. Pradeep Chaudhary, a resident of Nayatola of Old Sahibganj, the shop owner, has complained about the incident by applying to the city police station.
The shopkeeper told that when he came to the shop in the morning, he saw that the lock of the shutter was broken. When I lifted the shutter, around 30 mobiles belonging to different companies kept inside were stolen by thieves. According to the shopkeeper, the estimated value of the stolen mobile is about four lakhs. The shop does not have any type of insurance. Here, after getting information about the incident, Anant Arya and Puani Chiranjit Prasad reached the spot and investigated. On the spot, the police recovered the iron pole used by the thieves in the incident. Police have registered an FIR in the matter and started investigation.

Thieves caught stealing in CCTV
The police team that reached the spot and scanned the CCTV footage installed around the mobile shop. It was clearly visible in the footage that the thieves broke open the shutter door from the front and carried out the incident for about an hour. The rest of the thieves were seen monitoring the road itself. With the help of CCTV footage, the police is investigating on the matter.
