Gumla, A younger brother hacked his elder brother to death in Kalmunda Kansitola village under Raidih Police Station area of this district. Upon receiving information a police team reached on the spot and sent the body for post-mortem to Gumla Sadar Hospital.
Police said that the deceased Muneshwar Sadlohar under the influence of liqour was beating his parents and younger brothers due to which the accused Santosh Sadlohar (19) got angry.
He first thrashed his elder brother using a stick and later hacked him to death and fled from the spot. However police acted promptly and managed to arrest the culprit. Police also recovered the axe and a stick which was used in execution of the crime.
