Two touts arrested from airport who were taking 15 children, including a minor girl to J&K


Ranchi: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) busted a human trafficking gang at Birsa Munda Airport. Also rescued 15 children from being victims of human trafficking. According to the information, there was a plan to take 14 minor boys of Latehar and a minor girl to Jammu and Kashmir via Delhi on the pretext of getting work. But the children suspected by the CISF are minors and they are being lured and taken out. After this, the identity cards of the children were checked. All the children turned out to be minors.

After this, the broker Raju Ganjhu and his wife, who were carrying the children including 15 children, besides their three children were stopped from traveling and handed over to the airport police station. After this, being a matter related to children, all were presented before the Child Welfare Committee Ranchi. Where the children were sent to Balashray after getting the Kovid test done. Information related to children, counseling and statement will be recorded. After giving shelter to the children, when there was a case of trafficking, the CWC handed it over to the Anti Human Unit at Kotwali police station for registering an FIR.

CWC is keeping an eye on this so tha child traffic can never happen again. All children will be restored. Direction has been given to register FIR.
