Protection of children orphaned by Covid is priority for govt: Hemant

Ranchi, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that protecting the children who have been orphaned due to Coronavirus is priority for the state government.
Virtually practicing in Project Sishu organised by Jhalsa he said that rehabilitation of such children was a very sensitive and touching gesture. He said that the initiative taken in this regard by the state government and Jhalsa was a commendable one. He said that it was a moral responsibility of all to protect the future of such children who have lost their both parents due to the deadly virus.
The Chief Minister said that amid the pandemic the government took many steps to ensure that life and livelihood are protected. He said that many organisations and people have extended their support to the state government in the pandemic. The Chief Minister said that the state government is taking necessary measures to overcome the challenges.
