Dumka, A police constable posted at Ramgarh Police Station of this district died under mysterious conditions. The deceased has been identified as Birjan Oraon (43) who originally hailed from Tengaria village under Bedo Police Station area of Ranchi district. It is being suspected that the policeman died as he had consumed poison. Sadar Inspector Nawal Kishore Singh on Sunday said that after the policeman started vomiting he was rushed to the Phulo-Jhano Medical College Hospital by other policemen where he died during treatment. He said that only the postmortem report will reveal the real reasons behind the death. The police officer said that whether the constable had consumed poison or died due to health problems will only be confirmed once the postmortem report is made available.
