The recruitment process has started for the new Vice Chancellors (VCs) of Ranchi University (RU), Vinod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University Dhanbad, Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi and Jamshedpur Women's University. The Governor's Secretariat has issued an order in this regard. The tenure of the VCs of these universities is over.
But, due to Corona, the recruitment process had not started yet. Presently the Pro-Vice-Chancellor was in charge of the Vice-Chancellor. VC will be appointed for the first time in Women's University Jamshedpur. Along with these, new appointment of Pro Vice-Chancellors (Provices) of Sido-Kanhu University, Dumka and Vinod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University Dhanbad will also take place.
