Drug peddler arrested, poppy straw recovered in Kashmir

Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a drug peddler anD recovered Poppy straw in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, a police spokesman said.
He said on a tip-off, a police party from Police Station (PS) Qazigund arrested a drug peddler and recovered 10.2 kg of poppy straw and 98 Spasmo Proxyvon capsules from his possession.
A case FIR No. 152/2021 U/S 8/15, 21 NDPS Act stands registered in PS Qazigund and further investigation taken up, he said.
