Puducherry, The Cabinet Formation in the Union Territory of Puducherry is expected to take place either on June 25 or 27, Assembly Speaker R Selvam said on Monday.
In an informal chat with news persons after inaugurating and participating in a Yoga function held abiding Covid protocol at Poornankuppam Village near here, Mr Selvam said that Chief Minister N Rangaswamy will submit the list of Ministers to Lt.Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan by this evening and the Ministers will be sworn-in either on Friday or on Sunday.
After the swearing-in function, assembly session would be convened to elect the deputy Speaker, he said.
The Speaker said that on invitation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the entire world is celebrating Yoga day today and added that Yoga is must to keep people healthy in this pandemic situation.
