Ranchi EW News: Union Home Minister Amit Shah kickstarted the assembly election campaign at the extended working committee meeting of the state BJP. Addressing the gathering in Ranchi, Shah fiercely criticized the JMM and Congress. He questioned the Congress about the source of ₹300 crore found at a Congress MP's residence and ₹30 crore at a minister's PA's house. Shah highlighted multiple scams under the current government, including a ₹1000 crore MGNREGA scam, ₹300 crore land scam, and various other corruption cases.

Extended State BJP Working Committee Heralds Assembly Election Campaign

Home Minister Amit Shah promised that if BJP is elected, they will protect tribal lands, population, and reservations. He emphasized the efforts of PM Modi, stating that Modi has ensured national security and been elected as Prime Minister thrice consecutively, a historic feat in India's democratic history. Home Minister Amit Shah praised the BJP’s contributions to tribal welfare, citing the appointment of the first tribal Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, the inclusion of the Santhali language in the Eighth Schedule, and the establishment of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. He also mentioned significant investments in infrastructure and welfare under Modi’s leadership. State BJP President Babulal Marandi criticized the current state government for rampant crime and corruption, asserting that the BJP, if elected, will bring stability and development to Jharkhand. Marandi urged party workers to campaign vigorously, highlighting BJP's achievements and the state government's failures.

Union Agriculture Minister and Jharkhand election in-charge, Shivraj Singh Chauhan, and other key leaders, including Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and opposition leader Amar Bauri, also addressed the gathering, reiterating BJP’s commitment to Jharkhand's development and welfare. The event concluded with a call to action for party workers to ensure a BJP victory in the upcoming elections, promising a government that upholds integrity and fosters growth
