Actor Sanchari Vijay gives new lease of life to few.

Bengaluru, Jun 15(UNI) National award-winning Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay, who was declared brain dead after meeting with a fatal road accident, on Tuesday gave a new lease of life to some patients through organ donation.

Hospital sources said so far Vijay’s eyes have been donated to two patients his kidney has also been donated to a patient who was being treated at the MS Ramaiah Hospital in the city.

On Monday, after the hospital had declared him brain dead, Vijay’s family had consented for organ donation.

A 34-year-old woman, who was being treated at MS Ramaiah Hospital awaiting kidney donor, as given his kidney, the hospital added.

The other two patients who were waiting for eye donors at Minto Hospital in the city also received eyes from Vijay.
