Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a drug peddler and recovered charas and illicit liqour in south Kashmir district of Kulgam, a police spokesman said here.

On a tip-off, a police naka party arrested a drug peddler and recovered 700 gms of charas-like substance and 32 bottles of illicit liquor in Qazigund area of Kulgam district.

A case with FIR No.163/2021 U/S 48 Excise Act, 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered at Police Station Qazigund and investigation taken up, he said.
