An encounter broke out between security forces and Naxalites in Keragani forest on Thursday, the third day of two IED blasts in the forests of Chainpur police station area. During this, the police have killed a Naxalite zonal commander Buddheshwar Oraon with a reward of Rs 15 lakh. This was confirmed by Gumla SP Hrideep P Janardhanan. Apart from an AK-47 rifle, many Naxalite literature, bags, bags, cash amount etc. have also been recovered from the spot.The security forces finally succeeded in killing Budheshwar Oraon, the regional commander-cum-spokesperson of the CPI-Maoists, who have been synonymous with terror in two states, including three districts, for the last 20 years. On Thursday, on the first morning, the police had received information that a group of Naxalite Budheshwar is gathered in the forest located between Keragani and Marwa. They are planning to carry out some big crime. Meanwhile, the police came out to surround them. During this the Naxalites came face to face. After which there was firing from both sides for hours.
