Ayodhya, EW Correspondent : Ayodhya, the historic city with deep-rooted cultural significance, is set to transform into the world's first Vedic Sustainable City, blending ancient traditions with modern technology. This ambitious initiative is made possible through a groundbreaking collaboration between the Ayodhya Development Authority and Arahas Technologies Private Limited, as announced in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) formalized on Friday.

The heart of this transformative project lies in the introduction of the Vedic Sustainable City Index Platform, a pioneering tool that utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assess and monitor Ayodhya's progress across vital dimensions of society, environment, economy, and resources. This comprehensive platform, developed by Arahas Technologies, employs advanced algorithms and geospatial analytics to provide real-time insights into Ayodhya's dynamics.

The Ayodhya Development Authority will play a pivotal role in spearheading the implementation and operation of the Vedic Sustainable City Index Platform. This authority will coordinate data collection from various urban departments and stakeholders, fostering collaboration to ensure diverse perspectives in developing a consistent sustainability index. The platform empowers urban development authorities to create or enhance policies and regulations promoting sustainability, contributing to a more resilient and environmentally responsible urban landscape.

The Ayodhya Development Authority envisions the city rooted in Vedic principles, nurturing the well-being of its inhabitants, fostering environmental stewardship, and embodying the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This strategic partnership with Arahas Technologies marks a crucial step towards achieving this vision.

Arahas Technologies, a leader in AI-powered solutions, is committed to catalyzing sustainable development. Through this collaboration, the company aims to contribute its expertise to Ayodhya's transformation, making it a model for global cities and inspiring other Indian Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).

"By setting up the Vedic Sustainable City Index, Ayodhya is not only ready to compete with global cities but will lead the way for Indian Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). The integration of advanced AI algorithms and geospatial analytics in our platform ensures a nuanced understanding of Ayodhya's dynamics, be it environmental, societal, or economic," stated [Official's Name], a representative of Arahas Technologies.

The introduction of the Vedic Sustainable City Index positions Ayodhya as a trailblazer in urban sustainability, with the collaboration between the Ayodhya Development Authority and Arahas Technologies poised to set new benchmarks for cities worldwide.
