Traffic Block on Delhi Division Leads to Disruption in Train Services: Cancellations, Partial Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Regulations in Effect

New Delhi, EW News:  In view of the upcoming power and traffic block scheduled for construction activities at Adarsh Nagar Railway Station Yard and maintenance work between Panipat-Khukrana and Diwana-Panipat-Babarpur on the Delhi-Ambala section, several train services over Delhi Division will be affected. The disruptions are expected to occur on November 28, 2023, and will result in cancellations, partial cancellations, rescheduling, and regulations.

Cancellation of Trains:

Train no. 04449/04452 New Delhi-Kurukshetra-Delhi EMU, scheduled for November 28, 2023.

Train no. 04583 Delhi-Panipat EMU, scheduled for November 28, 2023.

Train no. 04586 Panipat-Ghaziabad EMU, scheduled for November 28, 2023.

Train no. 12460 Amritsar-New Delhi and 12459 New Delhi-Amritsar, both scheduled for November 28, 2023.

Partial Cancellation of Trains:

Train no. 14508 Fazilka-Delhi express, scheduled for November 28, 2023, will be short terminated at Ambala.

Train no. 14507 Delhi-Fazilka, scheduled for November 28, 2023, will short originate from Ambala.

Rescheduling of Trains:

Train no. 12715 Nanded-Amritsar express, scheduled for November 27, 2023, will be rescheduled for a 12:00 hrs. start from Nanded (150 minutes late).

Train no. 12057 New Delhi-Una Himachal Jan Shatabdi express, scheduled for November 28, 2023, will be rescheduled for a 16:05 hrs. start from New Delhi (90 minutes late).

Train no. 12046 Chandigarh-New Delhi Shatabdi express, scheduled for November 28, 2023, will be rescheduled for a 13:35 hrs. start from Chandigarh (90 minutes late).

Regulation of Trains:

Train no. 12203 Saharsa-Amritsar express, scheduled for November 27, 2023, will be regulated for 100 minutes between Ghaziabad-New Delhi.

Train no. 12926 Amritsar-Bandra T. express, scheduled for November 28, 2023, will be regulated for 35 minutes between Panipat-Badli.

Train no. 22430 Amritsar-Bandra T. express, scheduled for November 28, 2023, will be regulated for 15 minutes between Panipat-Badli.

Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and stay updated with the latest information provided by the railway authorities. The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted, and efforts are underway to minimize the impact on commuters during this essential maintenance work.
