BJP should not mislead people by staging dharnas: Basant Soren

Dumka, Local MLA Basant Soren on Friday asked the leaders of the BJP not to mislead the people by staging dharna over the issue of the farmers.
He said that works done in the interest of the farmers by Hemant Soren government have been never seen before in the state. Basant said that for last seven months hundreds of farmers are staging agitation in Delhi and nearly 700 of them have lost their lives but the top leadership is not worried about thr farmers of the country.
He said that to solve the issues of the farmers new records have been set up in the area of paddy procurement by the farmers. The JMM leader said that for the the first time in the history of the state farmers were provided the seeds before onset of the Monsoon.
Basant said that the state government has provided benefits of loan wavier scheme to more than 2.46 lakh farmers of the state which also included 14049 farmers of Dumka whose loans worth Rs 45.73 crore has been wavied off. He said that leaders of the BJP should worry over their losing support among the people due to rising price rise and inflation, policies aimed at providing help to the corporate houses only.
