3 killed, 3 others injured as wild bear attacks villagers in Garhwa

Garhwa, As many as three men lost their lives and three others including a woman sustained serious injuries after they came under the attack of a wild bear in the forest located in Barkol village under Bargad block of this district.
Police said that the deceased has been identified as Anit Gidh (35), Sumit Gidh (38) and Raju Minz (40) while the injured included Chotu Gidh, his wife Mariyam Lakra and Kamlesh Gidh. The deceased and the injured hailed from Koriya Kodkar Tola of Barkol village.
The incident took place on Friday evening when these people were travelling through the forest back to their village. All the injured have been admitted at Sadar Hospital while the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
