The unexpected discovery unfolded as preparations were underway for PM Modi's address, with chairs bearing Rahul Gandhi's photo and a QR code displaying a message highlighting the Congress party's purported commitment to India's development over the years.

A viral video circulated by a Marathi media outlet captured the scene, showcasing rows of chairs embellished with Rahul Gandhi's photo stickers and QR codes intended for donations.

Local reports indicate that the chairs were initially deployed during a recent Congress rally in the area. However, the same contractor responsible for supplying the chairs to the Congress event neglected to remove the stickers before sending them to the BJP gathering.

The oversight sparked a significant controversy at the venue, with the video footage of the chairs quickly gaining traction on social media platforms.

Efforts were made to defuse the situation before the commencement of the meeting, with the stickers promptly removed from the chairs.

The incident occurred amidst heightened political activity, with Prime Minister Modi set to address a gathering in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, and the entire state cabinet.
