Union Minister Inspects Mohmmdganj Railway Station and Bhim Chulha Tunnel Construction

EW News : On the final day of his three-day visit to Jharkhand, the Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. L. Murugan, inspected the newly constructed Mohmmdganj Railway Station in Palamu district on December 25, 2024. During the visit, he reviewed the passenger amenities and interacted with a large number of local residents who had come to present their concerns. The Minister assured them of appropriate actions and directed the on-site officials to address the issues promptly. Union Minister Dr. L Murugan also visited the construction site of the railway tunnel near the Bhim Chulha tourist spot. He conducted a detailed inspection, inquiring about the project's timeline and other critical aspects from the railway officials. In the morning, the Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. L. Murugan, met with prominent citizens and social workers from the district to discuss their concerns. Following this, he visited the All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan centers in Palamu. During his visit, he interacted with the staff and reviewed the resources and challenges faced by these centers At the Doordarshan campus, Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. L. Murugan,participated in a tree plantation program, highlighting his commitment to environmental conservation. He also visited the AIR station in Daltonganj, where he assessed its operations and addressed local audiences with a heartfelt message. He expressed his joy at visiting Palamu, appreciating the region’s vibrant culture and potential During his three-day visit, the Minister evaluated various programs under the Aspirational District Development initiative, focusing on health and nutrition, education, agriculture, water resources, infrastructure, skill development, and financial inclusion. He shared his insights and suggestions to enhance the implementation of these campaigns. Dr.L  Murugan’s visit reflects the government's dedication to addressing regional development challenges and promoting inclusive growth in Palamu and the surrounding areas.
