Chaibasa: Pride of the Nation and No Voter Left Behind Campaign Launched

Ranchi/Chaibasa EW News:  In light of the upcoming Lok Sabha General Elections 2024, a sweep campaign was launched to raise awareness among all voter segments in the West Singhbhum district. The meeting, chaired by District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mr. Ananya Mittal and Assistant Election Officer Mr. Bandhan Long, along with all Nodal Officers of the Election Learning and Support Center (ELSC), was conducted successfully.

During the meeting, the District Election Officer discussed the Voter List Summary Revision Program 2024 and urged any eligible individuals or new voters who may have been omitted from the voter list to contact their nearest Booth Level Officer (BLO) or register through the Voter Helpline. Special awareness campaigns were deemed necessary in this regard.

The District Election Officer also briefed the participants about the Voter Awareness Campaign 2024 organized under the guidance of the Department of Elections, Jharkhand. This campaign includes music videos, short films, poster-making, and reel-making initiatives. All citizens of the state are encouraged to participate and submit their artistic creations by March 31st. Selected artworks and presentations will be rewarded across three different categories based on predetermined criteria.

Additionally, the District Election Officer directed the Nodal Officer of ELSC to ensure the efficient implementation of election workshops and sweep programs in the district. This year’s theme for the Lok Sabha elections, “Election Festival – Pride of the Nation” and “No Voter Left Behind,” was emphasized to fulfill its meaningful purpose.
