Role of Jharkhand in the Nation’s Economy: He reiterated Jharkhand’s crucial role in the country’s economy, being home to around 40% of the nation’s mineral resources. The state is a major producer of raw materials for various industries, and has long been a hub for mineral-based industries.
Investment Opportunities in Jharkhand: Emphasizing the vast potential in Jharkhand, the Chief Minister invited entrepreneurs to invest in sectors beyond minerals, including arts, culture, and tourism. He stated that Jharkhand is India’s largest producer of Tasar silk and has great potential in the textile sector. The state’s rich cultural heritage and natural beauty make it an ideal destination for tourism investment.
