Ranchi: The troubles of 15 accused in obstructing government work case including Sukhdev Bhagat, former state president of Congress of Jharkhand state and former MLA of Lohardaga, have increased. The Special Court of MP/MLA has taken cognizance of the chargesheet filed against the accused in obstructing government work. Along with this, summons have been issued against all the accused on the directions of the court.

Sukhdev Bhagat and other accused have been ordered to appear in the court either in person or through an advocate on June 25. On 28 May 2018, Ganga Ram Thakur, the executive officer of the Municipal Council, Lohardaga, lodged an FIR at the Lohardaga police station accusing the then MLA Sukhdev Bhagat and others of attacking the public servant and obstructing the discharge of government work by imposing unlawful acts. The investigating officer of the case found the incident to be true and filed a charge sheet with concrete evidence on which the court took cognizance.
