Tata will provide free preparation for UPSC Civil Services Examination

Tata Steel Foundation and Tribal Cultural Society have provided an opportunity to provide free coaching to the graduate passed ST-SC students in and around Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. In this, students will be prepared for competitive examinations, so that more and more tribal students can go to civil service. This coaching will be completely free. Applications are invited for this. City students can apply online or offline to join the coaching.

To apply offline, the application form has to be taken from the Tribal Cultural Society and it has to be submitted between 10 am to 5 pm. There are certain conditions which have to be fulfilled to participate in the coaching. Under this, only those students who have passed the graduation examination or are appearing in the graduation final year examination can join the coaching. Apart from this, only those students can do coaching, whose annual family income is less than 2.5 lakh rupees. Applications for this will be accepted till 30 September.

Students can apply for this from the Tribal Cultural Center located in Bistupur. Students will also have to go through an entrance exam to join the coaching. Its date will be decided and informed to the students later. Children of parents working in government jobs and Tata Steel jobs will not be able to participate in coaching. Students who will be enrolled for this free coaching, a fixed amount will be charged from them as security money, so that the students do not leave the coaching in the middle. This coaching will be given for eight months.
