New Delhi: Rajiv Kumar has resigned from the post of Deputy Chairman of NITI Aayog. After he remained in this post for almost 5 years, it is now expected that economist Suman Berry can replace him. Rajiv Kumar was the second Deputy Chairman of NITI Aayog. After coming to power for the first time in 2014, the Modi government changed the name of Planning Commission to NITI Aayog. After this Arvind Panagariya became the first Deputy Chairman of NITI Aayog. Rajiv Kumar became the new Vice President on 1 September 2017 after Panagariya resigned.
