Palamu District Advocates Association general election on 18th September

The election program for the general election year 2021- 2023 of Palamu District Advocates Association has been started from Tuesday. Members of the election committee, senior advocates Baijnath Choubey, Akhilesh Chandra Singh and Shaukat Ali on Tuesday announced the Palamu District Advocates Association general election (2021-‘23) in front of the journalists and also announced the date of the election sequentially. Giving information to the journalists, the three member committee said that after consultation with the Observer Senior Advocate Baleshwar Singh and Mrityunjay Kumar Srivastava appointed by the Jharkhand State Bar Council for the successful completion of the Palamu District Advocates Association general election, the following election program have been decided which shall be as follows.

For the candidates standing in the election, the sale of nomination form will be done from 1st of September to 4th September and it will be mandatory to fill the nomination form on the said date itself. The scrutiny of the nomination form will be done on 6th September. On September 9, candidates will also be able to withdraw their names. The final list of all the candidates will be published on 10th September. All the advocates will cast their vote in the voting box on Saturday, 18th September. Counting of votes will be done on September 19 and the declared winners will be announced on September 20. The members of the election committee informed that all the preparations have been completed for the successful completion of Palamu District Advocates Association general election 20-21-23. The election committee is confident that all the advocates will play their important role in the successful conduct of the election. According to the election committee, elections are to be held for the single post of Chairman, Vice President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Joint Secretary Administration, Assistant Treasurer and Joint Secretary Library. In which 9 candidates of the Governing Committee are to be selected. The President must have 25 years of practice and for the post of Vice President it is necessary to have 15 years of practice. No qualification has been prescribed for practice for the post of Secretary General.

 Along with this, no qualification has been fixed for practice for other posts also. The nomination fee for the post of President, Vice President, General Secretary and Treasurer has been kept at Rs 3100. The nomination fee for the post of Assistant Treasurer, Joint Secretary Administration and Joint Secretary Library has been fixed at Rs 2100. The nomination fee for the member of the governing committee has been fixed at Rs 1500. The fee for the voter list has been fixed at Rs 450. President Sachidanand Tiwari, General Secretary Subodh Kumar Sinha and Treasurer Jai Kishore Pathak and all adhoc committee members and election committee colleague Sanjay Kumar Dubey were present on the occasion.
