Ranchi: The Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand is preparing to launch an ambitious project. Under this, arrangements will be made to take the sick people to the hospital as soon as possible. The government is planning to start an app based ambulance service like Ola-Uber cabs. Let us tell you that during the Corona period, the Health Department had received complaints of ambulance drivers recovering more money from the needy. After this the government has started in this direction. It has been named Jeevan Doot 108 Emergency Medical Ambulance Service.
According to Jharkhand’s Additional Health Secretary Arun Kumar Singh, Jharkhand will be the first state in the country to provide free app based ambulance service. Under the app based ambulance service, all the ambulances will be connected with GPS and GPRS. To avail this service, the beneficiary will have to download this app from Google Play Store like Ola and Uber. OTP will come after entering the mobile phone number. As soon as it is entered, the number will be registered and the location will be shared with the help of GPS.
