Raipur: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday dedicated to the people and laid the foundation stone here for 33 National Highway projects in Chhattisgarh. These project are estimated to be of Rs 9,240 crore. Speaking on the occasion he said, “These will facilitate state’s connectivity with neighborhood states of Odisha, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand.. A smooth road network shall connect backward areas with developed ones, thus it will be easy to access cultural as well as tourist destinations in Mungeli and Kabirdham.”

More to this he added, “Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, our dispensation is progressing in a planned manner for ensuring the prosperity and development of this state. These enterprises will result in saving of fuel and time. Traffic shall be smooth in the Coal Heavy Rail Traffic Zone of Anuppur-Ambikapur.”
