Monsoon slows down in Jharkhand

Monsoon has weakened in Jharkhand. Light rain has been recorded at some places in the state in the last 24 hours, but it is very less in terms of monsoon. The highest rainfall during this period has been recorded in Bokaro at 32.4 mm.

At the same time, the mercury of the state has risen sharply as soon as the rains subside. An increase of 2-3 degree Celsius has been recorded in the average highest temperature of the state.The highest temperature was recorded in Deoghar at 37.6 degree Celsius.

Whereas, the lowest minimum temperature recorded was 23.1 degree Celsius in Medininagar. The situation in other districts of the state including Ranchi has also remained more or less similar.

Ranchi has recorded an increase in both minimum and highest temperatures in the last 24 hours. Both are above normal temperature. In the last 24 hours, Ranchi recorded a maximum temperature of 32.4 degrees Celsius, which is 2.9 degrees Celsius above normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was 24.1, which is 1.9 degrees Celsius above normal.
