“Jharkhand Police doesn’t have basic knowledge of Law. A capsule course should be arranged for them.” Jharkhand High-court said on Tuesday.
Hearing on a plea by advocate Hemant Sikarwar on behalf of law student Neelam Chaube, Court said, Madhya Pradesh Police arrested law student without arrest warrant. They were not in Uniform and vehicle used by them was not a Police Van. and Jharkhand Police had knowledge of it but they didn’t intervened.
Justice S. Chandrashekhar and Justice Ratnakar Bhengara asked for detailed affidavit from Police. Benched said Police could have produce victim before CJM Court. She could have been granted bail, But they did nothing.
