Ranchi: Relief news has come out for the Jharkhand state which is facing the problem of electricity. Apart from the discussion on the resolution/topics decided in the Jharkhand cabinet meeting, the issue of electricity shortage was discussed.
In this meeting, additional funds have been made available to the concerned department for revival of Jharkhand. In the meeting, the Hemant government will pay the tariff subsidy of 1690 crores to NTPC and DVC. After the cabinet meeting, Education Minister Jagannath Mahato had also confirmed that in view of the problem of electricity, there was a detailed discussion in today’s meeting. It was decided that the state government will send the outstanding payment to DVC soon, so that the people of Jharkhand can be relieved from the problem of electricity.
