The single day rise in coronavirus infections was recorded above one lakh after 214 days and its whopping 1,41,987. In our country 3.53 lakhs people are covid infected which includes 3071 Omicron Cases.

285 fatalities in last 24 hours

Of 3071 Omicrone cases 1203 have recovered or migrated. The recovery rate in our country is 97.30 per cent. In last 24 hours 285 people has died, according to Data provided by health Ministry on saturday Morning. The total death toll in the country is now at 4,83,463. Out of the fresh cases recorded today, 17,616 people were asymptomatic, which accounts for 84% of the fresh cases.

Current Wave is shorter, May pick-up in Jan-Feb and will die down in March: Expert

As per the study condusted by IIS, Bangluru, The country might witness the peak in January end, different states could see their peaks hitting at different times, but it predicted that most states would see it within February.
