Research scholars have started arriving at IIT ISM Dhanbad campus. After completing the process including thermal screening, bag sanitization at the main gate, the concerned students are being sent directly to the health center for examination. After the medical check up there, the students went to their respective hostels. Students will be quarantined in the hostel for a week. After completing the quarantine period, students will be allowed to move to their departments inside the campus.
During the quarantine period, students have to keep masks, sanitizers, dry food and Aadhar cards , identity cards and health insurance cards. SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) has been issued by the institute for the students. Disciplinary action will be taken against the students concerned for not following the covid protocol. Even such students will be sent back home.
Let us inform you that from September 20, UG final year and PG final year students have been called. Students will not be able to go out without permission. Students also have to submit the undertaking form. It is clear in these that the students are coming to the campus on their own responsibility. The students have been told that after the end of the quarantine period, 11 points related to the SOP will have to be followed. Students should carry a water bottle with them. Do not shake hands. Say hello, do not exchange food, clothes, books, papers and other personal belongings between each other. Contact online only. Avoid going straight to the office. Don’t even do mass events.
Food will be provided to the students in the hostel following the Covid protocol. Students have been instructed to submit the mess fee receipt of Rs 15,000 for PhD, Project and JRF and Rs 10,000 for final year UG-PG students. Not only this, students also have to submit the certificate of Covid vaccine as soon as they enter the campus.
