Ranchi: Hearing was held on Thursday in the Jharkhand High Court in the Shell Company case. During the hearing, senior advocate Kapil Sibal informed the High Court that they have Supreme Court against this petition. During the hearing, senior advocate Kapil Sibal, advocate general Rajiv Ranjan and advocate Piyush Chitresh argued before the court on behalf of the state government. Senior advocate Tushar Mehta on behalf of ED and ASGI Prashant Pallav on behalf of CBI and advocate Partha Jalan presented their side in the High Court. On behalf of the Chief Minister Hemant Soren, senior advocate Mukul Rohtogi and High Court advocate Amritansh Vats appeared before the court.

Senior advocate Kapil Sibal, appearing for the government, informed the High Court that we have approached the Supreme Court against this petition. On which hearing is going to take place soon. After this, the court has decided the date of May 24 for the next hearing on this matter.

During the hearing, the court sought to know from the government how a charge-sheeted officer can be authorized to file an affidavit. The court said that seeing the documents submitted by the ED to the court, it appears that this matter is very important and is related to public interest.
