Ranchi: Election has been announced on the vacant seat in Rajya Sabha. The Election Commission of India has announced elections for a total of 57 seats in the country. Voting will be held for 2 seats in Jharkhand on June 10. At present both the seats are with the Bharatiya Janata Party. One of these seats is with Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, while the other is with MP Mahesh Poddar.

Election Commission of India has announced elections for two Rajya Sabha seats in Jharkhand and five in Bihar. According to the Election Commission, the notification for the Rajya Sabha elections will be issued on May 24. The date of voting has been fixed on June 10. The counting of votes will take place on the same day at 5:00 pm and the entire process will be over on June 13.

Maximum number of 11 seats are getting vacant in Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, voting will be held in 6-6 seats in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, 4-4 seats in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan, 2-2 in Telangana, Punjab, Haryana and Jharkhand, three in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha and one seat in Uttarakhand.
