Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren has sent his reply on the notice sent by the Election Commission in the case of allocation of mines in Anagada. Central Election Commission will hear this matter on 31 May. According to sources, the Central Election Commission has directed Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his brother cum Dumka MLA Basant Soren to present their case in the mines lease case. The commission has said that MLA Basant Soren will present himself on 30 May and Hemant Soren on 31 May and present their side in the light of the complaint made by the state BJP.

On Friday, in the mining lease allocation case, the Chief Minister has sent his reply through a special representative. In response, the CM has written what he has told in his filing in the High Court and Supreme Court. In the reply sent to the Election Commission, it has been said that at present he does not have any mining lease and the entire charge against him is motivated by the spirit of politics.
