Ranchi: CM Hemant Soren has written a thankful letter to Prime Minister Modi. In the letter, the Chief Minister appreciated the sincere efforts made by the Prime Minister’s Office to ensure the evacuation of Indian students stranded in Ukraine. At the same time, he has suggested that necessary instructions should be given to the concerned ministry to take initiative in the direction of completing higher education in the medical colleges of the country for the returned home students.

In the letter, CM Hemant has written that due to the Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the education system of Indian students studying there has remained incomplete. Due to the efforts of the center, the students studying were made to return home safely. Of these, more than 180 students are also from Jharkhand. The CM said that after coming back home safely, an uncertain future has now arisen in front of the students. At present, there is no prospect of the Ukrainian war ending soon. In such a situation, there is no hope of returning to Ukraine to complete the incomplete studies.

The CM said, many students have completed the first and second year of their course. In view of the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and the uncertainty over the restoration of normalcy, it is necessary that concrete steps be taken in the direction of admission in the medical colleges of the country.
