Lucknow: The churning of various political parties is going on for 11 seats in Uttar Pradesh regarding the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. The round of discussion on the names of candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections in the Samajwadi Party has started. According to the current strength, the Samajwadi Party can send three members to the Rajya Sabha. In such a situation, the party is churning out some faces from other states along with businessmen, former bureaucrats and old party loyalists. According to the information received from the sources, the names of Salim Sherwani, Alok Ranjan and Kapil Sibal are being told in the forefront of the three names. Alok Ranjan has been the former Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh and is considered very close to Akhilesh Yadav and Kapil Sibal is a big leader of Congress.

Let us inform that the process of nomination for 11 seats of Rajya Sabha is starting from May 24. At present, five SP MPs are in the Rajya Sabha. Among them, the tenure of Kunwar Revati Raman Singh, Vishambar Prasad Nishad, and Sukhram Singh Yadav is ending on July 4. Chaudhary Sukhram is now in the BJP camp, while Vishambar Prasad Nishad has lost the assembly elections. Kunwar Revathi Raman Singh’s son Ujjwal Singh has lost the 2022 election. In such a situation, the party is giving more emphasis on giving a chance to the new face.

Sources say that the party is churning on such a face which will prove to be economically useful along with caste equations. In such a situation, the names of two businessmen of Lucknow are also in discussion. Similarly, the names of former bureaucrats Alok Ranjan and Fateh Bahadur are also in the news. Amidst speculations of Azam Khan’s displeasure, the party can send a positive message to his family or any Muslim leader close to him in the Rajya Sabha.
