Srinagar: Three officials of Jammu and Kashmir Police have been injured in a blast that took place in Shopian, Jammu and Kashmir. The Blast took place in a van that was parked on the road of Shopian and exploded when the police officials reached the spot in the course of patrolling.

However after receiving the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation into the matter. It is being told that the blast took place in a private vehicle. The injured jawans have been admitted to the nearest hospital.

Kashmir Zone Police has confirmed the incident by tweeting. It is written in the tweet that there has been an explosion in a private hired vehicle in Shopian. In which three soldiers were injured. The injured have been admitted to hospital. The nature and source of the blast is under investigation.

It is noteworthy that earlier on Wednesday, terrorists shot at a civilian in Shopian district. The incident took place in Rakh-Chidren village of Keegam in Shopian district. Police had told that Farooq Ahmed Sheikh was fired upon by terrorists at Chidren in Keegam at around 9 pm. The bullet hit his leg due to which he was seriously injured. At present, his condition is said to be fine.
