Bareilly: Seven people died in a major road accident in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. The accident took place near Shankha bridge in Fatehganj West of the district where an ambulance going from a nearby Medical College towards Delhi collided with a container. Of the 7 people who died, 3 are female and four are male. CM Yogi has expressed grief over the death of people in the accident. CM tweeted and instructed the officers to help the families of the deceased and asked for proper treatment of the injured.

As soon as the information was received, the rescue and relief teams along with the police also reached the spot. The ambulance was pulled out by crane. The deceased family has been identified as resident of Pilibhit district. While the ambulance driver lives in the village opposite SRMS Medical College, the police have sent the dead bodies to the district hospital’s mortuary. On the information of the accident, many officials including DM and SSP have reached the spot and are investigating the matter.
